EMI Nest (Android package com.japp.emiplanner)

EMI Nest is a loan and savings calculator for Android. It helps you estimate EMIs, compare offers, and look at FD, RD, and PPF figures. It is a planning tool, not a bank, lender, or credit bureau. Figures in the app are estimates, not a loan quote.

This policy explains what data the app stores, what leaves your device, and who else may see information when ads or currency rates are used.

1. Who we are

This app is published by the developer of EMI Nest. We do not run a user account system and we do not operate a server that stores your loan calculations.

2. We do not create accounts

You can use EMI Nest without signing up. We do not ask for your name, phone number, PAN, Aadhaar, bank account, or credit card. We do not do KYC and we do not originate loans.

3. Data stored on your device

The following stays on your phone (local storage). We cannot see it.

• Loan amounts, interest rates, tenure, processing fee, EMI results
• Saved loans, history, compare inputs, and calculator settings
• Language, currency, and appearance (light / dark / system)
• Whether you have finished a first EMI (used only to decide when ads may start)
• Optional EMI due-day reminder settings
• Cached foreign-exchange rates if you refresh them

Uninstalling EMI Nest deletes this data. We do not offer cloud backup. Android backup of app data is turned off.

If you later buy a “remove ads” product, Google Play records that purchase. Entitlement may also be stored on the device so ads stay off.

4. Permissions

• Internet — to load ads and, if you tap refresh, public currency rates.
• Notifications — only if you set an EMI due reminder. Reminders are scheduled on the device and are not sent to us.
• Advertising ID — used by Google’s ads SDK. You can reset or delete it in Android settings.

We do not request contacts, location, camera, microphone, SMS, or storage access for your photos.

5. What leaves your device

Ads (Google AdMob)

The free app may show ads from Google AdMob after you complete a first EMI. Ads are not shown before that first result. Formats may include banners, native ads, interstitial ads after share or save, app-open ads on later sessions, and an optional rewarded ad to hide banners for 24 hours.

Google may collect a resettable advertising ID, device and app information, IP address, and ad interaction data (impressions and clicks) to show and measure ads. Where required (for example the EEA/UK), a consent message may appear before personalized ads.

We do not sell your loan figures to advertisers. Your EMI numbers are not uploaded to our servers.

Currency rates (Frankfurter)

If you open Currency and tap refresh, the app requests public rates from Frankfurter at https://api.frankfurter.app. That request does not include your name, email, or loan amounts. If refresh fails, the app can use rates already on the device.

Share PDF or CSV

If you share a statement, Android’s share sheet opens. You choose the destination (WhatsApp, Drive, email, and so on). We do not upload that file to our servers. The app you share to has its own privacy policy.

Google Play

Installing or updating the app uses Google Play. Crash reports or other Play diagnostics, if you have them enabled on the device, are handled by Google, not by an EMI Nest backend.

Crash reports (Firebase)

If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics may collect a stack trace, device model, OS version, and a non-identifying install ID so we can fix bugs. This does not include your loan amounts. Google’s policy: Google Privacy Policy.

6. What we do not collect

• Name, email, or phone (unless you email us yourself)
• Precise or approximate location from the app
• Payment card details (any future in-app purchase is processed by Google Play)
• Contacts, photos, or files other than a PDF/CSV you choose to share

7. Children

EMI Nest is a finance planning tool. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Ads in the app are not intended to be child-directed.

8. Security

Calculations stay on device. Traffic to Google and Frankfurter uses HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Do not photograph or share a PDF if it contains numbers you want to keep private.

9. Your choices

• Use the app without an account.
• Skip Currency refresh to avoid the Frankfurter request.
• Decline notification permission if you do not want reminders.
• Limit ads through Android advertising settings, or reset your advertising ID.
• Delete all local app data by uninstalling EMI Nest.

If you email us, we will use that email only to reply, then you may ask us to delete the correspondence.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change (for example when production ads or a remove-ads purchase go live). The “last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.

गोपनीयता नीति (संक्षेप)

EMI Nest एक लोन और बचत कैलकुलेटर है। खाता नहीं बनता। आपकी ईएमआई, सेव किए लोन और सेटिंग्स फ़ोन पर रहती हैं। ऐप हटाते ही यह डेटा मिट जाता है।

पहली ईएमआई के बाद Google AdMob विज्ञापन आ सकते हैं। क्रैश रिपोर्ट Firebase Crashlytics को जा सकती है (स्टैक ट्रेस, डिवाइस मॉडल) — लोन राशि नहीं। विज्ञापन आईडी Google इस्तेमाल कर सकता है। करेंसी रेट रिफ्रेश पर Frankfurter से सार्वजनिक दरें आती हैं — नाम या लोन राशि नहीं भेजी जाती। PDF/CSV आप जिस ऐप से शेयर करते हैं, उसकी अपनी नीति लागू होती है।
